Wow, it feels like it’s been ages since I’ve done the Green Embers Building Rome challenge. Life in Mamaville has just been ridiculously busy lately. I finally feel like I’m getting my shit back on track, which is good. Unfortunately, in this span of time where my shit hasn’t been on track my good habits that I was building have gone totally down the shitter.
There wasn’t a theme announced for this week’s challenge (when I decided to write my post, anyway), so I’m going to follow my own – putting the puzzle back together. (which, now that I see that this week’s theme is “metamorphosis” I think is kind of fitting)
- Tidy up the living space and make the bed every morning before leaving.
- Take my morning pills every day.
- Spend time doing creative shit at least three times this week.
Given how busy shit is going to get, I’m gonna call it good with that. Let’s see how I do…

Creativity helps keep me going. Something about having another outlet for expression – it just helps with my mental stuff.

I agree, it’s good to have something what helps and what you like to do…

I like your goals, you know it’s going to be busy and you keep that in mind. Very good planning. 🙂
I need to add the tidy things up to my list, I’ll put that on next weeks goals, oh the link for this week is: http://greenembers.wordpress.com/2014/06/30/building-rome-week-27-metamorphosis/
The one you linked to is my personal post (I keep the two separate).

Sorry about that, it didn’t seem right from the last time I did this, but since my brain has been all wonky lately… I’ve updated it though. 🙂
I figured since I know it’s going to be a little extra hectic there’s no sense in setting myself up for failure by having a list of a zillion things. 🙂

See that’s what I like, nice straight forward shit, so you know where you stand. I do hope however that the creative shit includes drawing me a picture, but not of a shit preferably! lol
Hope it’s a good week 🙂

Hmm, I don’t normally draw – I don’t feel as though I’m good at it – but that’s probably the exact sort of thing I really should be doing. Any suggestions for the subject of this masterpiece?

I think we’ll start you off small, a hay cart beside a house and an idyllic river might be a little to taxing on a first go.
How about an alien, as in how you view them? lol
I am a terrible telephone doodler and the only think I seem to draw is eyes, I manage an eye, eye lashes and a nostril and then can never manage to fit a face round it ffs lol

Alien – got it. I don’t have any proper supplies here at the office, but Josh has all sorts of stuff at home. Challenge accepted!

Thanks! I’m making decent progress so far, which seems so odd to say given that it’s only been 2 days. 🙂

That’s beside the point. The point is to try and do the best you can, and you *are* doing it.

Yup, I am. And if I can get myself off FB long enough, I have a little proof that I can post. 🙂
