Not sure if anyone else remembers, but back in February Deborah hosted a 28 Day Challenge to help us all get our motivation/productivity on. I had a blast with it and got a ton of stuff completed. I was thinking that perhaps doing that again would be a really good idea. Given that today is May 1 and I’m just now having this thought I don’t believe I’ll be wanting to start today, but would anyone be on board for starting June 1?

I wasn’t here for the last one, what’s involved?

It’s pretty free-form, but I think that’s the beauty. You pick one “big” project or task that you need to get done and break it down into smaller chunks. Every day you work on a chunk for an hour, longer if you want to, but at least an hour. On Fridays you post a little update about how it’s going. If a day’s task doesn’t take the whole hour you can move on to the next task or just chill.
I used it for getting my online shops setup, something I’d been dragging my feet about, and ended up finishing something like a week early.

I should definitely give this a go. Especially with moving at the end of May. Use June to unpack and start crafting!

I think I’m going to use it for some large-ish craft project myself this time, just not sure what. What kind of craft stuff do you typically do?

I do photography, make jewelry, handbags, getting ideas lately for crafting signs.

Ah, jewelry… Shiny beads are a definite weakness of mine. I actually just went out on Etsy and found myself a pretty little lampwork pendant.
Crafting signs? Not sure I know what that is but it sounds intriguing.

I use to do wood and metal work. So I’m thinking of using that and creating wall hangings… quotes, frames, random crap that comes to mind 😛

Ah… Awesome! I’ve been collecting interesting quotes that I see on the interwebs that I want to incorporate into drawings.
My one sister in law made a key rack thing for my in-laws for Christmas. The idea was good but she is definitely no wood worker.
